Raw Release formed as a hip-hop team in 2007 from members of Anna's dance class in Kingston-Upon-Thames. Originally, the class just wanted an opportunity to practice their beloved dance and to perform for fun at local events. Over the years, the group has gone from strength to strength and they now perform all over the country at charity and corporate events, the private parties and competitions, whilst maintaining a local prescence in Kingston borough. Through total fluke, the team found themselves an all-female group and decided to form Raw Release Podium to run in addition to their now well-founded street troupe. The podium girls now perform up and down the UK offering high-energy, powerful sets of both freestyle dance and sexy choreography. Each member of Raw Release brings their own flavour and style to the team - and with ballerinas, breakers, pole dancers and gymnasts on board, their performances always entertain.
