Ditch the workout - Join the party! Zumba is the new fitness sensation taking over the world! Latin and International music are fused to create an explosive, booty shakin' party of a workout that burns 400-1000 calories an hour and leaves you on a high! Who can do Zumba? One of the great things about Zumba, is that there is no right or wrong way and you don’t have to know how to dance. Anyone can do it whether you are young, old, or in-between. Everybody has their own style and works at their own fitness level. It doesn't matter if you get all the steps right, they will come. What's important is having fun while getting fit in a welcoming, encouraging, high energy environment. What should I wear? You can wear any type of fitness clothes – think comfortable and cool. As for shoes, wear cross-trainers or dance trainers – anything that will give you support. Also remember the importance of attending every session with plenty of bottled water and most importantly a BIG SMILE! Drop in classes, no need to book in advance, simply turn up and join in!
